A really simple way to raise money for Weldmar Hospicecare is to save and collect up your used stamps.

We get them recycled to raise funds, with a kilogram of stamps fetching around £20, and any foreign stamps earning more.

In 2020, we posted reminders about this, and it prompted many supporters to send in their stamps, including schools, businesses, and community groups.  An entire village even got in on the act – residents of Charmouth shared the appeal in their locally produced Shoreline magazine, and the library acted as a collection point!

Pictured above are Weldmar team members Elly and Alaine with sacks full of your stamps, which have today been collected and sent for recycling.

Thank you!
