Celebrating 40 years of nursing: Weldmar’s Director of Clinical Services, Caroline Sweetland, encourages a new generation to enter the profession

Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom was on at the cinema, and Wham! were at number one with Freedom when Caroline Sweetland embarked on her career in nursing in October 1984.

Today, we are celebrating 40 years of nursing and Caroline is the Director of Clinical Services at Weldmar Hospicecare, having originally joined our Education team in 2010.

She’s been speaking about her journey in nursing, what she enjoys and values about being part of Team Weldmar, and encourages those thinking of going into nursing to ‘go for it’:
