Weldmar Hospicecare Christmas Advert
So, Asda have got Michael Bublé in theirs, Sophie Ellis-Bexter appears in the one for Marks and Spencer, and Waitrose have signed up Graham Norton, so we thought we had better get serious about our Christmas adverts for Weldmar Hospicecare shops!
The run up to Christmas is a key time for any retailer, but of course all proceeds from Weldmar’s 23 shops and larger outlets, as well as their eBay store, go towards providing vital end of life care in Dorset for adults with a life limiting illness and support for their loved ones.
Charity shopping also provides an affordable alternative, with many quality pre-loved items to be found, including fashion, gifts, homewares, toys, and more.
Christmas Charity Shop Challenge
We set a ‘Christmas Charity Shop Challenge‘ to three people – Fiona, Pete, and Maisie, and asked them to find their favourite bargains in a Weldmar charity shop, and see what savings they could make on buying new.
Each of them star in their own advert, which will be screened on social media throughout November and December to encourage local people to pay a visit to their local Weldmar shop, and in turn support the work of Weldmar Hospicecare.
For those who enjoy treasure hunting in Weldmar charity shops, there is also the option to buy gift cards as presents, loaded up with your chosen amount of credit.
Shopping with Weldmar Hospicecare this Christmas can provide a great solution for:
- Saving money on quality items that make great presents
- Toys for the children and stocking fillers
- Secret Santa gifts for work colleagues
- Something to wear for Christmas parties, or the big day itself
- Additions for the Christmas table – centrepieces, gravy boats, additional crockery, glasses etc
- Gift cards for family and friends who enjoy charity shopping
