An introduction to loss, grief and bereavement

Who is this training suited to?

Suitable for clinical and non-clinical staff who are wishing to understand more about loss and bereavement.

Course Content:

The course aims to help attendees increase their knowledge and understanding of loss, grief and bereavement and the different ways it can affect people at different times. This is an interactive course which includes a mix of tutorial and group discussion.

Learning Outcomes:

· Gain an overview of loss and bereavement and grief theories/models.

· Understand common physical and emotional presentations of grief

· Understand personal and cultural differences

 

A Weldmar Hospicecare certificate will be provided upon completion.
