Course Content:
One day experimental workshop exploring the issues faced by bereaved children, young people and families and how we can support them.
Includes exploring the challenges of supporting bereaved families and what can help; an understanding of death and dying and grief at different developmental ages and stages; an introduction to models of grief and resources that can help.
Learning Outcomes:
A better understanding and increased confidence to support bereaved children, young people and families, including knowledge of ‘grief’ at different age and stages, models of bereavement and strategies to support those we work with.
A Weldmar Hospicecare certificate will be provided upon completion.
