Former BBC Chief News Correspondent (1989–2003) who reported from major global conflict zones including Tiananmen Square, Bosnia, Rwanda, and Sierra Leone. Current freelance presenter for BBC Radio 4’s From Our Own Correspondent and Chancellor of Bournemouth University.
Lord Mark Sedwill GCMG FRGS
Cross-bench peer and former top civil servant, serving as Cabinet Secretary, Head of the Civil Service, National Security Adviser, and Ambassador/NATO Representative in Afghanistan. Currently chairs the International Institute for Strategic Studies and Atlantic Future Forum, holds City appointments, and serves as President of the Special Forces Club and SBS Association.
Lieutenant General Sir Robert Fry KCB CBE
Military veteran whose career spanned Special Forces command, Commandant General of the Royal Marines, Deputy Commanding General of coalition forces in Iraq, and MoD Director of Operations. Former executive at Hewlett Packard, Help for Heroes trustee, visiting professor, and published commentator who now advises defence and communications firms.
