✔️ Permanent contract in an expanding service – read more about this here ✔️ Continued professional development encouraged ✔️ Support of an established and experienced multi-disciplinary team ✔️ Accrued NHS leave will be honoured, and continuation of NHS pension
Weldmar at Home offers end of life care to patients in their own homes in the last four weeks of their lives, in the comfort of their familiar surroundings.
You’ll need to be empathetic and compassionate, with good communication skills, because as well as providing respectful and dignified care for the patient, you’ll also support the family by providing guidance, advice, and reassurance, which makes a huge difference to the end of life experience of all those involved.
Due to a new partnership with NHS Dorset, Weldmar at Home is now caring for even more patients at the end of life, and early in 2023 will start providing these services in Swanage and the Isle of Purbeck. By joining Weldmar at Home, you will be part of an established, growing local service providing an excellent level of care.
Why should you consider Weldmar at Home?
Some of our team describe the role, the support available, and what it means to them to be a part of it.
You’ll benefit from a wealth of support services from us whilst you are part of the team, including free counselling for work and non work matters, as well as lots of training and development opportunities.
To apply for this role, you’ll need to possess NVQ Level 2-3 or higher in care or from a relevant role, and have a minimum of two years’ working experience of direct care giving. Experience of delivering care at end of life is desirable.
