Here’s an opportunity to be a member of Weldmar Hospicecare’s established medical team, as a Specialty Doctor in Palliative Medicine, at our Inpatient Unit. You’ll be joining our friendly multi-disciplinary team that aims to make a difference every day for local adults with a life limiting illness.
With the stunning Jurassic Coast, incredible local scenery, picturesque villages and vibrant local towns, Dorset really is an incredible place to live and work. You’ll be based in the beautiful surroundings of our Inpatient Unit, and as required work in an outpatient or community settings.
Working part time (2 days a week) you will usually work from 9am until 5pm, which will allow you the space and time that patients and families need. In addition, you’ll form part of the Weldmar Hospicecare on call rota, which is non-resident and provides cover for the Inpatient Unit.
You will have full GMC registration with a license to practice and ideally will have completed four years’ full-time postgraduate training (or equivalent gained on a part time or flexible basis) at least two of which will be in relevant specialty training. Salary will be according to experience and qualifications.
An Enhanced plus barred list Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check is required.
