Weldmar’s popular Make A Will Month returns for 2021
4th August 2021
< BACK TO NEWSHave you written your Will yet?
It’s estimated that more than half of the adult population in the UK have not yet made arrangements for what will happen to their estate and assets when they die.
This October, for the third consecutive year, Weldmar Hospicecare is delighted to announce that it has joined forces with a number of local solicitors in Dorset, and offering appointments to write or update a single or joint Will, in return for a donation. This means a significant saving on the usual cost.

It’s important to write a Will, because:
- Should the worst happen, your family will have less paperwork, and therefore less stress, to deal with
- It ensures your money and possessions go to who you want them to
- Make sure your children are provided for in the way you want
- You can make a gift to a good cause or charity of your choice, such as Weldmar
Sarah Balchin is Weldmar’s Legacy Fundraiser, and says, “Having a Will is really important, and can provide peace of mind at the most difficult time. We are delighted that a number of local solicitors have come on board and we thank them for giving their time to this important campaign, so that we can encourage more people to write their Will”.
Thank you to Battens, Blanchards Bailey, Kitson & Trotman, Nantes, and Porter Dodson, who are all participating in Make A Will Month.
