Last year, Music By The Lake raised an incredible £45,000 for Weldmar Hospicecare, and this amount was made possible by the fact we had a brilliant team of volunteers to help out over the weekend.
Volunteers provided marshalling in the car park and arenas, looked after the merchandise and our own catering stalls, and helped check in guests at the gate – all helping to make significant savings on the cost of running the events.
We’re now on the lookout for volunteers for this year’s Music By The Lake, which runs from Friday 5th to Sunday 7th July at Dorchester Showground.
The UK’s leading tributes to Robbie Williams, the Spice Girls, and Pink will be performing on Friday evening, with Abba, Madonna, and Duran Duran tributes on Saturday evening. Sunday afternoon’s show features the music of Lionel Richie, Stevie Wonder, and Diana Ross.
