We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and physically active driver to join the team at our brand new Bridport Superstore, which opens this spring.
This is more than a delivery job. You’ll be the face of Weldmar, meeting our incredible supporters and ensuring that every piece of furniture we collect or deliver helps fund specialist care across Dorset.
In this role, you will:
- Provide a warm, professional experience for donors and customers during collections and deliveries.
- Safely navigate a goods van around Bridport and the surrounding areas, including confident parking and routine safety checks.
- Move, load, and unload large furniture items and heavy goods with care and precision.
Knowledge of relevant health and safety requirements of commercial driving and manual handling would be desirable, but full training will be provided.
Possession of a valid driver’s license is essential for the role. Due to insurance restrictions minimum age for candidates is 25, and you should have a good knowledge of the local area.
A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check is not required for this role.
