If you’d like to help out in one of our charity shops or outlets in Dorset, we would love to hear from you!

Even if it’s a couple of hours each week, giving your time ultimately leads to Weldmar Hospicecare being able to provide specialist care to local people living with a life limiting illness, as well as support to their loved ones.

Volunteering at one of our shops means you could be serving at the till, sorting through donations, or helping to ensure the shop is tidy, well stocked, and welcoming.  We can make sure that you find something that suits you and your skills, abilities, and experience.

The friendly teams at shops and outlets are proud to welcome and work with volunteers.  You can either pop in to your local shop, or click the Apply Online button on this page.

The minimum volunteer age is 14 yrs at Dorchester (Trinity Street), Weymouth (St Thomas Street), Lyme Regis, and Sherborne, which is ideal for someone looking to complete their community service part of the Duke of Edinburgh Award, or 17 yrs at all other retail sites, and this role is subject to relevant clearance checks.

Weldmar Hospicecare values, respects, and responds to diversity and difference of individuals and groups.
