Thank you for supporting Weldmar Hospicecare.
As a Dorset charity, we rely on the generosity of the local community to be able to offer all of our services for free, to those local people who have a life limiting illness and need specialist end of life care, as well as providing support to their loved ones.
We need to raise £26,000 a day to keep our services going, which includes our Inpatient Unit in Dorchester, our Weldmar Community Nursing team, Weldmar at Home, all of our Patient and Family Support Services, and more.
There are lots of ways that you can support us, from shopping with us and donating items to our shops, through to making a regular financial donation, playing our lottery, and fundraising.

Where to find Weldmar’s Community Outreach Vehicle
Our Community Outreach Vehicle took to the road in late 2020, and visits local events large and small, town centres, village halls, and other venues.
Fran is onboard answering your questions about Weldmar services, and handing out useful information leaflets and free copies of the latest Weldmar Hospicecare Supporter Magazine.
If you are organising a local event, or would like to suggest a venue or location for the Community Outreach Vehicle to visit, you can get in touch.

Did you know we can accept donations of unwanted cars?
Perhaps your company has a pool car that just isn’t being used post pandemic, or a family member has a car they can no longer drive?
We can take this off your hands and turn it into much needed funds.
Please contact fiona.hansford@weld-hospice.org.uk for more information.
