A heartfelt thank you to all of our brilliant supporters who entered Weldmar’s New Year Raffle.

A sensational £20,000 was raised for specialist care for local adults who have a life limiting illness, and support for their loved ones.

The winning numbers were picked by Emma, Senior Sister at our hospice in Dorchester, Staff Nurse Lizzie, and Pat, a volunteer with our fundraising team.

The £20,000 raised by the raffle will provide counselling support for no less than fourteen families in our care, who are experiencing life’s most difficult journey. Weldmar provides support not only to the patients in their care, but their loved ones too, including bereavement counselling.
