Online sales for tickets have now closed, but you can still purchase tickets from 11am – 3pm at the Fete!

What will be in your box? A Nintendo Switch 2 Mario Kart bundle? A Cornish holiday? A round of golf for four? A shiny new pizza oven for your garden? Our Mystery Box game returns at to Weldmar Hospicecare’s Summer Fete on Saturday 13th September!

We’ve got twelve boxes, each featuring a brilliant prize. Purchase a ticket for £2, and we’ll add it to one of the boxes (purchase more, and we’ll spread them out between a number of boxes). Then, after 3pm at the Summer Fete, we’ll draw a winning ticket from each box – which amazing prize will be inside yours?

A huge thank you to all of the local businesses and individuals who have donated these prizes. All proceeds will go towards the specialist care that Weldmar provides to local adults with a life limiting illness, and support for their loved ones.

Terms and Conditions

The raffle is open to all UK residents over the age of 16, except employees and volunteers of Weldmar Hospicecare (the charity) who are directly involved with the raffle, and other companies directly involved in the running of the raffle.

Tickets cost £2 each. There will be no discount or offers provided in the sale of tickets.

Participation in the raffle can be made at the Summer Fete by purchasing tickets on the day with appropriate cash or card payment.

Tickets can also be bought online via debit card on the Weldmar Hospicecare website at www.weldmarhospicecare.org/summer-fete-mystery-box. Your personal data will be used by Weldmar Hospicecare to process your donation, and for other purposes described in their Privacy Policy: www.weldmarhospicecare.org/privacy-policy We are unable to accept credit card payments for raffle ticket purchases. Any entries that are paid by Credit Card will be invalid and not entered into the draw. No refunds will be given and payment will be considered a donation to the charity.

No tickets can be sold to, on behalf of, or for a person under the age of 16 years. If a ticket is sold unknowingly to, on behalf of, or for a person under the age of 16 they will be exempt from the raffle and will forfeit their prize and the entry money will be returned to them.

Please keep your ticket or email receipt as proof of purchase.

Online entries will close at 0800 on Friday 12th September 2025. On the day entries will need to be with the charity by 3pm on Saturday 13th September 2025, ahead of the draw on the same day at 3:15pm.

Raffle tickets will be entered into the draw only when the whole payment is received.

Tickets received after Saturday 13th September 2025 will not be entered into the draw and payment will be treated as a donation to the charity.

The charity accepts no responsibility for raffle tickets which are lost, stolen, damaged or illegible, or from which the prize-winner cannot be identified, or for any technical failure or event which may cause the competition to be disrupted or corrupted.

Raffle tickets will be drawn randomly –physically and witnessed by two people. Anyone who has entered the draw will not be permitted to draw the prize-winning tickets.

Online entries will be entered into randomly selected boxes on the day of the draw, with the chance of winning any of the prizes on offer.

The prizes are:

  • £30 Voucher with reserved table for four people at a Leggomen event at The Boat, Weymouth. Includes two bottles of wine
  • An outdoor, table top pizza oven
  • Round of Golf for four people at Highcliffe Castle Golf Club
  • Nintendo Switch 2 Mario Kart Bundle
  • Vineyard tour, 2 x wine glasses & Wine Rack
  • A vintage car ride experience for one, followed by a cream tea
  • £100 voucher for Avenue Interiors
  • A Short Break for up to 8 people at Tregoad Holiday Park, Cornwall
  • Pet Portrait with artist starter bundle
  • Overnight Stay (up to £200) with Hall & Woodhouse
  • Afternoon Tea for two at the Alexandra Hotel
  • Alpaca meet & greet experience

The result of the raffle draw is final.

Winners will be notified by phone and/or email no later than 5pm on Tuesday 16th September 2025.

All online entries and payments are processed by the Supporter Care Team (staff and volunteers) in a locked office, which is only accessible by members of staff, at Weldmar Hospicecare, Hammick House, Bridport Road, Poundbury, Dorchester, Dorset DT1 3SD.

Where the charity is unable to contact a prize-winner so that a prize remains unclaimed for six months, the charity may apply the prize as it sees fit, including re-offering the prize in future raffles.

All winners are required to collect their prize in person either from the Summer Fete at Weldmar Hospicecare Inpatient Unit, Herringston Road, Dorchester, Dorset DT1 2SL or be able to collect from the same location within two weeks of the draw. Alternatively, prizes can be posted providing winners pay for the postage.

All winners are required to co-operate with the charity’s right to publish their win as and where deemed appropriate, and to provide proof of age when requested.

In the event of an error, howsoever caused, whether a printing error or otherwise and whether obvious or otherwise, which affects the competition in any way, the organisers reserve the right to administer the raffle as though the error had not occurred. Where the organisers deem it appropriate and/or feasible the Charity will notify entrants of the error.

This raffle is Licensed by Dorset Council under the Gambling Act 2005 Ref SL0182
