Our Commitment to Preventing Fraud
Weldmar Hospicecare is committed to the highest standards of honesty, integrity, and accountability. We recognise that fraud undermines public trust, damages our ability to deliver charitable objectives, and is a criminal offence. In line with the Fraud Act 2006, the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023, and the new Failure to Prevent Fraud offence, we have robust procedures in place to detect, deter, and respond to fraudulent activity.
We expect all staff, volunteers, partners, and suppliers to act lawfully and ethically at all times. We also encourage external stakeholders—including donors, beneficiaries, and members of the public—to play a role in safeguarding our resources and reputation.
