As Learning and Development Manager you will use your experience of developing and implementing training programmes, and knowledge of current learning and development best practices to enhance Weldmar Hospicecare’s learning culture.
You should be an innovative leader with the passion to drive engagement for ongoing professional development, to ensure that our people have the right skills and knowledge to deliver our services now and in the future. You’ll be responsible for the design, delivery and evaluation of a comprehensive education, learning and development programme that aligns with Weldmar’s strategic aims and objectives, meeting the needs of our employees and volunteers. You will also lead on the external specialist education programme delivered to healthcare professionals to enhance their skills and knowledge in palliative care and will be accountable for ensuring that all mandatory and statutory training is completed.
We are looking for someone who has a learning and development qualification (CIPD or similar) or equivalent experience and has experience of leading and implementing change, managing budgets and working with external training providers. The role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a flexible approach.
