Our Complementary Therapy Services Lead is responsible for the development, integration and management of all complementary therapies provided by both staff and volunteers across the charity.
The postholder will be responsible for managing a busy referral process meeting the needs of patients, their loved ones and colleagues. You will lead a team of both staff and volunteers and responsible for maintaining a safe and effective complementary therapy service and holistic programmes in accordance with Weldmar policies and procedures.
You will be responsible for overseeing the caseload of your team as well as managing your own clients amongst management responsibilities. You will be confident in delivering regular training to colleagues. You will work closely with other service leads as part of a multi-disciplinary team including our Allied Health Professionals and Patient and Family Support Team.
Professional qualification/diploma to Level 3 or above in aromatherapy and at least one of Weldmar’s other core therapies (massage, reflexology and reiki) is essential. Experience of COSHH is a key part of this role to ensure the safety of all practitioners and those receiving treatments.
