No two days are the same in our outlets – which are larger sites that also sell furniture, so you’ll need to be friendly, confident, and willing to take a hands-on approach in everything from outstanding customer service though to ensuring the shop floor is well presented and welcoming. Everyone who comes through the door, whether it’s to shop or donate goods, should have a positive experience so that they’ll make Weldmar their charity of choice in future.
You might see this as an opportunity to develop your existing retail or customer service supervisory experience, or to put your existing retail skills to good use. The role includes assisting in the management of staff and volunteers, stock displays, and administration and banking.
You may be asked to work flexibly to cover annual leave and sickness at other times.
