Our popular charity shop at Easton on Portland is due to re-open with a smart new look in October, and we’re looking for an enthusiastic and reliable individual to become a part time Shop Assistant.
In this role, you’ll help ensure the smooth operation of the shop, and deliver excellent customer service. Duties include unpacking, sorting, and selling donated goods, and working with volunteers to maintain a welcoming atmosphere, and a tidy and well stocked shop.
In addition to day-to-day tasks and administrative duties, you’ll also act as a key holder and handle banking responsibilities during the manager’s absence.
While retail experience is preferred, full training will be provided for the right candidate.
A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check is not required for this role.
