Due to team expansion, we are looking for a dynamic individual, skilled in providing complementary therapies.
It’s a chance to really make a difference to those people who need it most. Complementary therapies can help our patients with symptom management and also provide emotional benefits, as we aim to make their lives a little easier at the most challenging time. One carer recently said to us:
“It’s absolutely incredible, I turn up in a mess and leave feeling calm and that I can cope”.
The well-being of our patients and their carers, is essential so it’s important we find an experienced and compassionate practitioner, with great interpersonal skills, who can help develop, deliver, and maintain a high-quality service alongside our Complementary Therapy Service Lead and team.
You’ll need to have a professional qualification in Aromatherapy and at least one or more of our core therapies, which include Reflexology and Swedish/holistic massage. You should have post-registration experience as a complementary therapist, ideally working in a healthcare setting. You will also need to be able to travel across Dorset to see patients in their own homes.
An Enhanced plus barred Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check is required.
