“You never know when you’ll need hospice care”: Why Jane is donating half her lottery winnings back to Weldmar

Congratulations to Jane Robbinson from Dorchester, who has won the runners’ up prize of £200 on the weekly Your Hospice Lottery draw – and is donating half of it back to Weldmar.

“I’m really happy to have won,” Jane told us, “as I haven’t won anything before! I signed up a couple of years ago when I saw it being promoted at a shop in Dorchester. I’d only recently moved back after spending some time abroad, and I thought it was a good opportunity to do something for charity.”

Jane explains that although she’s not had a personal connection with Weldmar, it’s something that needs the support of the local community: “You never know when you, or a friend or family member, might need hospice care so it’s a really important cause.”
