Weldmar shops ‘pop-up’ across Dorset this summer

Camp Bestival 2023
Our retail team were joined by some of our amazing volunteers, to sell clothing, fancy dress and accessories at Camp Bestival. The theme for this year’s festival, held at Lulworth Castle, was ‘Animal Pairs’, and the pop-up shop was full of animal prints and accessories for last minute and impulse purchases, so that festival goers could be suitably attired. The team raised an incredible £7,000 for Weldmar Hospicecare over the weekend.
Reclaim Festival
The team from Weymouth Outlet transformed part of the museum at the Nothe Fort into a pop-up preloved and vintage shop, as part of the museum’s recent Reclaim Festivals. The festivals in June and July, aimed at young people aged 16-25, combined shopping, live music, art, food and drink, providing a space for young people to be creative and have fun. More Reclaim events are planned for the autumn.

Weldmar are an active part of the local community, so we were delighted to be able to support a new event such has Reclaim festival. It has allowed us to connect with a younger demographic, and champion Weldmar as a place to both shop and volunteer.”
Join us this October when our Dorchester Outlet will be hosting Weldmar Hospicecare’s Fashion Show, on Wednesday 4th October, at the Dorchester Corn Exchange. Tickets are £5 and can be bought from Dorchester Outlet, Dorchester Clearance Outlet, and the Dorchester Shop in Trinity Street.
