Enjoy the convenience of having your Christmas tree collected from your door between 10th and 12th January, and know you are also supporting hospice care in Dorset.
Bookings open soon for January 2027 collections
Volunteer to help with collections
We’re on the lookout for people to help with collections of Christmas trees this coming January!
We looking for volunteers who could either drive their own van or truck on a collection route, or be navigators and additional helpers to assist with loading up the trees. You’ll need to be fit and able to move trees up to 8ft tall onto and off vehicles.
Exact dates and locations are currently being finalised (it usually takes place on the second weekend of January), but we’d love to hear from you if you’d like to sign up to help out.
Important things to remember:
- Real Christmas trees only, no taller than 8ft.
- Please take all the decorations off your tree.
- We could pick up your tree anytime between 8am and 7pm so have it ready to go!
- Please place your tree outside the front of your house (avoiding blocking any pavements or roads), and where it won’t be necessary for volunteers to need to open gates etc.
- Once bookings open, please take a note of the deadline to make your booking.
Help us to find you!
If you live in a remote location, have a difficult to find address, or have useful information to allow us to find you easily, please make sure that you fill in the relevant box on the booking form below.
One way you could help is providing your WhatThreeWords location. There is a unique combination of three words for every location in the UK – for example, Weldmar’s Inpatient Unit is ember.ounce.spoon. Providing a WhatThreeWords code allows anyone with the app to find your exact location!
