How is the Government supporting the building works?

In late 2024, the UK Government announced £100M ringfenced exclusively for hospices to fund building and facility upgrades and refurbishments, which will be shared across 220+ hospices. This capital grant from the Government cannot be used to fund patient care services, and must be used for enhancing building environments only, and we are maximising this one-off opportunity to benefit our services for those who will need us in the future. The capital grant will help fund the physical building works and extension at our Inpatient Unit site, but we still need to raise funds through our supporters to turn these spaces into a warm and welcoming environment for our outpatient services.
