Flower Arranging Volunteer

< BACK TO VOLUNTEERING

✅ Flexibility in managing your allocated hours
✅ Delight our patients and their families with beautiful floral arrangements
✅ Opportunity to work with a variety of donated flowers
✅ Free parking at our hospice

A number of floral displays are donated to the Inpatient Unit and we try to use these as much as possible to enhance both public and patient areas at our Inpatient Unit.

Flowers are so sensual, and their vibrant colours, evocative perfume and variety of textures really do uplift all those who enjoy them.

Our flower arrangers regularly commit to the volunteer rota, which consists of 3 consecutive days (Monday to Wednesday), and 2 consecutive days (Thursday and Friday), where each volunteer will be on duty typically every six weeks.

We are looking for someone with a basic knowledge and passion for flower arranging.

Weldmar Hospicecare values respects and responds to diversity and difference of individuals and groups.
