It’s an exciting time for fundraising at Weldmar Hospicecare, as we’re planning a number of new events on top of our regular annual activities – and we’ll need the support of our wonderful volunteers to bring them to life!
There are many ways to get involved throughout the year, from supporting events, manning cheer stations and marshalling, to picking up Christmas trees, collecting and distributing donation pods, and attending community events.
One of our biggest annual events is our annual Summer Fete, this year taking place on Saturday 12th September in the beautiful grounds of our hospice in Dorchester.
We’re looking for a fantastic team of volunteers to help make the day a success. Roles include helping with set-up and pack-down, serving refreshments, running fundraising stalls, and welcoming visitors at the entrance gate.
