We’re seeking a compassionate and motivated Level 1 Counsellor to join our Patient and Family Support Service. This role is suited to someone early in their counselling career who is committed to developing their practice.
Working closely with experienced counsellors, you’ll help ensure patients, families, and carers receive timely, high-quality psychological and emotional support. You will play an active role in creating a calm, welcoming environment and use your professional skills to offer sensitive communication and support, including pre- and post-bereavement care.
This role provides a meaningful opportunity to make a positive difference while building your professional experience within a supportive team. A minimum Level 4 Diploma in Counselling is required, along with accreditation from the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) or another relevant professional body. Candidates working towards accreditation will also be considered.
