Weldmar’s Nurses’ Raffle proceeds match the total lost by cancelling our Summer Fete

Thank you to everyone who purchased tickets for our recent Nurses’ Raffle!

As we could not hold our traditional Summer Fete in September with our popular Nurses’ Stall, we instead gave you the chance to win cash prizes and help raise vital funds with a special raffle instead.

The Summer Fete is a day where we can meet many of our supporters, and warmly welcome back family members and loved ones of patients we have cared for. It is also a key fundraising event for the charity, raising around £25,000 each year…

…and the Nurses’ Raffle also raised £25,000!

This will be going towards the end of life care that we provide in Dorset to any adult with a life limiting illness, as well as support to their loved ones.

This is the same that we would expect to raise at our Summer Fete, so thank you!
